I came here seeking help for motivation to study Latin. I enjoyed the video, but I didn’t learn *why* it’s such a good idea to study Greek and Latin. I heard that they’re dead languages which no longer undergo change, but it wasn’t made clear how communicating in a dead language vs. a living language influences the study of philosophy or theology. I think that using a dead language may make it harder for those who want to employ “weaponized ambiguity,” but that’s only my guess. Anyway, thanks for this: it was interesting.
