Very good news whatever you think of the pope, the particular bishops interviewed here, or the politics or motivations of the converts. All of that is insignificant compared to connecting otherwise endangered souls to the umbilical cord that is the sacramental life of the Church. https://t.co/U4QPXOlT6Z

I was told repeatedly that Trump was a “peace president” who was responsible for “no new wars” ….. almost like repeating simple phrases ad nauseam is a basic propaganda tactic. https://t.co/59zhnMzK1G

Reporter: Why did you attack Pope Leo?

Trump: I don’t think he’s doing a very good job. He likes crime I guess. We don’t like a pope who says it’s ok to have a nuclear weapon. We don’t want a pope that says crime is ok. I am not a fan of Pope Leo. pic.twitter.com/cj3oh1jSIL

CENTCOM says the blockade will only be applied to ships leaving or going to Iranian ports. Certainly still an escalation that risks blowing up the ceasefire and raising oil prices, but it makes more sense than Trump declaring that all traffic in the strait would be blocked. https://t.co/YtnINmOvWL
