CHAPTER IV.
That the Brethren may not receive Money.
I STRICTLY command all the Brothers that they by no means receive money, either by themselves or through the medium of others. Nevertheless, the Ministers and Custodes, and they only, shall take special care to provide for the necessities of the sick, and the clothing of the Brethren, through the means of their spiritual friends, according to seasons, places, and cold climates, as they shall see to be expedient ; this always excepted, that, as before said, they may not receive money.
